Darkness Rises — A new Harry Potter Trio Era role play!

The Wizarding World’s Second War ended approximately a year and a half ago, under the impression that Harry had succeeded in killing Voldemort and fulfilling the Prophecy. The world has slowly been settling down into a state of calm in the aftermath of such terror, and Wizards and Witches alike have been struggling to rebuild their lives after the scare that was Voldemort’s nearly successful completion to tyranny. Many have either completed their schooling at Hogwarts and have begun their careers, or dropped out and are finding their way in the world.

For many, now is a peaceful time—people are finally growing relaxed with how the world has settled around them, and the citizens of the magical world have fooled themselves into believing that things are finally calm once and for all. Little do they know, Voldemort was never truly defeated the day the Battle of Hogwarts occurred, and has been secretly rebuilding his strength and his army for another attempt at rising to power. He’s taken in Draco Malfoy—whom everyone believed to have died during the War—and kept him hidden in training to become one of the Death Eaters’ newest leaders, and only those who are loyal to the Dark Lord know of these plans. He’s had some of his followers infiltrate the Ministry under the impression of working there as employees to keep an eye on Harry and other members of the Order while he slowly rises to power once more.

When the Death Eaters finally show their faces and attack, who will crumble, who will remain loyal to Harry, and who will find the temptation of power more alluring than ever?
